Team Lead Editorial Partnerships (m/f/x)

Your role
As lead of the Editorial Partnerships team, you are responsible for collaborating with your team of editors and other cross-departmental experts on bringing captivating stories to life for and in partnership with our clients. You work closely with our sales and project management teams to ensure that projects are executed smoothly and to their fullest potential, and that ultimately, they add value to our brand and common work experience.

  • Oversee successful conceptualization, planning, and execution of partner campaigns and service productions from the Creative side, according to project guidelines
  • Field requests from Sales team for pitches, input, and kickoffs of new projects, and draw in the right team members to execute them
  • Plan capacities together with Project Managers, other Managing Editors, Arts, and Operations to create partner project teams suited for the project at hand
  • Ensure proper and transparent communication of partner campaign details across project teams
  • Oversee quality control of partner campaign assets, ensuring that they meet all agreed upon requirements and are up to the Kitchen Stories standard 
  • Develop and maintain guidelines for content approval, quality control, and other workflows as needed (also together with Sales PMs)
  • Work together with Lead Operations Manager to train and build freelance network of editors to support partner productions throughout the year, especially in our busiest times (Q1 and Q4)
  • Hire, lead, and develop a partnerships team by setting clear expectations, providing guidance, and empowering them with the tools and framework they need to succeed
Your profile
  • You lead by example in your interactions within and outside of your department, focused on collaboration, clear and constructive communication, and a solution-oriented mindset
  • You have significant experience working on a creative team as an editor or concept designer within an agency or other media outlet, ideally with leadership responsibility
  • You have experience working on-set for photo and video productions 
  • You have extensive knowledge of food and are an enthusiastic and curious home cook 
  • You are self-motivated and goal-oriented, thinking a step ahead, and not shy to try and propose out-of-the box ideas to succeed
  • You put yourself in the client’s shoes to determine how best to meet their specific needs
  • You are tuned into what’s current in the industry regarding branded entertainment and potential collaborations
  • You have a detail-oriented, analytical mindset and can recognize opportunities and obstacles in order to capitalize on or troubleshoot them accordingly
  • You have the ability to build the right team and leverage talents with the appropriate complementary skill sets and culture fit to achieve our goals 
  • You speak and write German on the native level and have strong English skills
